Possible new source of T and CP violation in neutrino oscillations

Frans R. Klinkhamer

Published 2006-01-16, updated 2006-03-05Version 4

A model is presented to illustrate that vacuum neutrino oscillations can be essentially T and CP invariant up to a certain energy but strongly T and CP noninvariant at much higher energies. Detailed model results for the vacuum probabilities P(nu_mu to nu_e) and P(nu_e to nu_mu) are given, which may be relevant to proposed long-baseline neutrino-oscillation experiments.
