We include, in a self-consistent way, Pauli blocking effects, meson self-energies modified by nuclear short-range correlations and baryon binding potentials. We show that the on-shell factorization cannot be applied to evaluate the in-medium corrections to p-wave amplitudes. We also obtain an attractive shift for the $\\Lambda$ and $\\Sigma$ masses of -30 MeV at saturation density while the $\\Sigma^*$ width gets sensibly increased to about 80 MeV. The moderate attraction developed by the antikaon does not support the existence of very deep and narrow bound states.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2006-11-27T15:38:17.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "21.65.+f", "14.20.Jn", "13.75.Jz", "25.80.Nv", "13.75.-n", "14.40.Aq" ], "keywords": [ "dense matter", "chiral approach", "nuclear short-range correlations", "narrow bound states", "dense nuclear matter" ], "tags": [ "conference paper" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 3, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 726310, "adsabs": "2007qnp..conf...55T" } } }
