We found that three-particle correlation densities in different angular directions with respect to the triggered particle (`center', `cone', `deflected', `near' and `near-away') increase with the number of participants. The ratio of `deflected' to `cone' density approaches to 1.0 with the increasing of number of participants, which indicates that partonic Mach-like shock waves can be produced by strong parton cascades in central Au+Au collisions.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v5", "updated": "2007-02-15T06:37:08.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "24.10.Nz", "25.75.Ld", "24.10.Pa", "25.75.-q" ], "keywords": [ "collisions", "partonic mach-like shock waves", "three-particle correlation densities", "strong parton cascades", "multi-phase transport model" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 9, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 724400 } } }
