  "abstract": "It is demonstrated that the breather solutions recently discovered in the weakly coupled topological discrete sine-Gordon system are spectrally unstable. This is in contrast with more conventional spatially discrete systems, whose breathers are always spectrally stable at sufficiently weak coupling.",
