It is shown how the extra CP-odd phases of a general non-unitary matrix allow for sizeable CP-asymmetries in channels other than those dominant in the standard unitary case. The $\\nu_\\mu\\to \\nu_\\tau$ channel turns out to be an excellent tool to further constrain moduli and phases. Furthermore, we clarify the relationship between our approach and the so-called \"non-standard neutrino interactions\" schemes: the sensitivities explored here apply as well to such constructions.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2007-06-25T15:33:11.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "low-energy non-unitary leptonic mixing matrix", "cp-violation", "extra cp-odd phases", "general non-unitary matrix", "standard unitary case" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "Physics Letters B", "year": 2007, "month": "Jun", "volume": 649, "number": "5-6", "pages": 427 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 14, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 746141, "adsabs": "2007PhLB..649..427F" } } }
