In these lectures I discuss the expected properties of the top quark, which will be tested at the Fermilab Tevatron and the CERN Large Hadron Collider. I begin with a modern review of the standard model, emphasizing the underlying concepts. I then discuss the role the top quark plays in precision electroweak analyses. The last two lectures address the strong and weak interactions of the top quark, with an emphasis on the top-quark spin.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v3", "updated": "2002-12-16T23:42:15.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "standard model", "cern large hadron collider", "precision electroweak analyses", "fermilab tevatron", "quark plays" ], "tags": [ "lecture notes" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 41, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 601344, "adsabs": "2002hep.ph...11067W" } } }
