We determine the constraints that these conditions place on the evolution of the Hubble parameter with redshift, H(z), and on the scaling of the coordinate distance with redshift, r(z). Observational constraints on H(z) are used to derive an upper bound on the current matter density. We demonstrate how the weak energy condition constrains fitting functions for r(z).", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2007-11-30T18:26:22.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "expansion history", "weak energy condition constrains", "arbitrary dark energy component", "energy condition constrains fitting functions", "dark energy satisfies" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 5, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 746550 } } }
