Its performance makes possible for the first time the study of radio-signal features on an event-by-event basis. The sampling of the magnitude of the electric field along a 600 meters axis is analyzed. It shows that the electric field lateral spread is around 250 m (FWHM). The possibility to determine with radio both arrival directions and shower core positions is discussed.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2006-08-25T14:05:59.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "95.55.Jz", "96.40.-z", "95.85.Ry" ], "keywords": [ "extensive air showers", "radioelectric field features", "ultra high energy cosmic rays", "electric field lateral spread", "experimental apparatus codalema" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 724616 } } }
