We present arguments in favour of using a locally anisotropic momentum distribution for the particles emitted from the fluid, so as to smooth out discontinuities introduced by the usual conversion prescriptions. Building on this ansatz, we investigate the effect of the asymmetry on several observables of heavy ion physics.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2014-12-16T21:13:42.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "high-energy heavy-ion collisions", "anisotropic flow", "kinetic freeze", "anisotropic fluid", "hanbury-brown-twiss radii" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1140/epjc/s10052-015-3489-3", "journal": "European Physical Journal C", "year": 2015, "month": "Jun", "volume": 75, "pages": 275 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 7, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 1334704, "adsabs": "2015EPJC...75..275B" } } }
