This suppression is caused by the effect of {\\it Cooper pair dephasing} which occurs in the normal metal and defines a new fundamental length scale $L_\\varphi$ in the problem. Provided the temperature length exceeds $L_\\varphi$ this dephasing length can be conveniently extracted from equilibrium measurements of the Josephson current.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2014-11-10T19:59:44.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "73.23.Ra", "74.25.F-", "74.40.-n" ], "keywords": [ "electron-electron interactions", "supercurrent dephasing", "junctions dc josephson current", "temperature length exceeds", "fundamental length scale" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1103/PhysRevB.91.024505", "journal": "Physical Review B", "year": 2015, "month": "Jan", "volume": 91, "number": 2, "pages": "024505" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 11, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2015PhRvB..91b4505S" } } }
