The method measures whole families of optimal entanglement witnesses. We introduce adaptive measurement schemes that greatly speed up the entanglement detection. The experiments are performed on states of different ranks, and we find good agreement with results from computer simulations.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2014-03-28T07:11:13.000Z", "comment": "6 pages, 5 figures, 3 table, 19 references; v2 includes an appendix which discusses more general adaptive schemes and provides some technical details of the experiment", "journal": null, "doi": null }, { "version": "v3", "updated": "2014-09-28T05:45:22.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "03.67.Mn", "03.65.Ud", "03.65.Wj" ], "keywords": [ "experimental detection", "optimal-witness families", "unknown two-photon polarization state", "optimal entanglement witnesses", "tomographic effort" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1103/PhysRevLett.113.170402", "journal": "Physical Review Letters", "year": 2014, "month": "Oct", "volume": 113, "number": 17, "pages": 170402 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 6, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2014PhRvL.113q0402D" } } }
