We find good agreement with the empirical energy spectrum, and with the electromagnetic properties and transition rates. For the ground state, we find that the nucleons are arranged in a tetrahedral configuration of alpha clusters. For the first excited spin-0 state, we find that the predominant structure is a square configuration of alpha clusters, with rotational excitations that include the first spin-2 state.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2014-02-24T13:13:48.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "21.60.De", "21.30.-x", "21.10.Dr" ], "keywords": [ "ab initio calculation", "alpha clusters", "ab initio lattice calculations", "chiral nuclear effective field theory", "low-energy even-parity states" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review Letters", "year": 2014, "month": "Mar", "volume": 112, "number": 10, "pages": 102501 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 4, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 1275627, "adsabs": "2014PhRvL.112j2501E" } } }
