In the strangeness sector, we discuss how the enhanced reactivity of light strange vectors at FAIR conditions can be tied to in-medium effects on their predominant decay modes (e.g. $\\bar K^*\\to\\bar K \\pi$) and to the excitation of strange baryons in vector-meson nucleon interactions. In the heavy-flavour sector, we focus on recent determinations of the transport coefficients of charmed and bottomed mesons in a hadron gas at vanishing baryonic chemical potential. We comment on the role of microscopic transport simulations to establish a connection between theoretical models and experimental observables from heavy-ion collisions.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2013-12-16T12:58:20.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "heavy mesons", "hadronic matter", "microscopic transport simulations", "vector-meson nucleon interactions", "predominant decay modes" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1088/1742-6596/503/1/012017", "journal": "Journal of Physics Conference Series", "year": 2014, "month": "Apr", "volume": 503, "number": 1, "pages": "012017" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 5, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 1269484, "adsabs": "2014JPhCS.503a2017C" } } }
