The energy dependences of the peaks and valleys of the pre-neutron-emission mass distributions are described by the exponential expressions based on the newly measured data. The energy dependence of evaporation neutrons before scission, which plays a crucial role for the reasonable description of the mass distribution, is also considered. Both the double-humped and triple-humped shape of the measured pre-neutron-emission mass distributions for reaction $^{232}$Th(n, f) are reasonably well reproduced at incident energies up to 60 MeV. The mass distributions at unmeasured energies and the critical energies at which the humped pre-neutron-emission mass distributions are transformed into each other are also predicted.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2013-11-01T00:26:12.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "24.75.+i", "25.85.Ec" ], "keywords": [ "energy dependence", "humped pre-neutron-emission mass distributions", "measured pre-neutron-emission mass distributions", "empirical fission potential model", "incident energies" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1088/0253-6102/62/5/14", "journal": "Communications in Theoretical Physics", "year": 2014, "month": "Nov", "volume": 62, "number": 5, "pages": 711 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 1263101, "adsabs": "2014CoTPh..62..711S" } } }
