The required asymptotical behaviour (including both the Q^{-2} fall-off and the correct coefficient) settles down automatically when the quark mass is switched off; however, the present experimental data on the form factor suggest that this cannot happen at the values of the momentum transfer below ~10 GeV^2. The effective constituent-quark mass below this scale acquires substantial non-perturbative contributions.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2013-11-11T07:16:05.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "13.40.Gp", "14.40.Be", "12.39.Ki", "11.10.Jj" ], "keywords": [ "pion electromagnetic form factor", "relativistic constituent-quark model", "momentum transfer", "intermediate values", "quantum-chromodynamical asymptotics" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review D", "year": 2013, "month": "Nov", "volume": 88, "number": 9, "pages": "093005" }, "note": { "typesetting": "RevTeX", "pages": 7, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 1257405, "adsabs": "2013PhRvD..88i3005T" } } }
