We investigate this enhancement of symmetries in the context of gauge/gravity duality by considering Rindler space as boundary of Anti-de Sitter space in three spacetime dimensions. We show that the loxodromy conjugacy class of the SO(2,2) isometry group is responsible for generating the special conformal transformations on the boundary under RG flow. We use this approach to present an alternative derivation of the two-point function in Rindler space using AdS/CFT correspondence.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2013-10-10T08:42:54.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "04.62.+v", "11.25.Tq" ], "keywords": [ "rindler space", "ads/cft correspondence", "conformal symmetry", "black hole spacetimes undergo dimensional", "hole spacetimes undergo dimensional reduction" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1103/PhysRevD.90.047502", "journal": "Physical Review D", "year": 2014, "month": "Aug", "volume": 90, "number": 4, "pages": "047502" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 11, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 1250002, "adsabs": "2014PhRvD..90d7502S" } } }
