Specifically we consider the transverse momentum, rapidity and pair-invariant mass distributions at NLO for the top-quark mass in the MSbar scheme. It is found that, similar to the total cross section, the perturbative expansion converges faster and the scale dependence improves using the mass in the MSbar scheme as opposed to the on-shell scheme. We also update the analysis for the total cross section using the now available full NNLO contribution.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2013-05-28T09:22:48.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "differential distributions", "running mass", "top-quark hadro-production", "total cross section", "msbar scheme" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1140/epjc/s10052-014-3167-x", "journal": "European Physical Journal C", "year": 2014, "month": "Nov", "volume": 74, "pages": 3167 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 12, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 1235729, "adsabs": "2014EPJC...74.3167D" } } }
