We give an extremely simple proof of Bell's inequality: a single figure suffices. This simplicity may be useful in the unending debate of what exactly the Bell inequality means, since the hypothesis at the basis of the proof become extremely transparent. It is also a useful didactic tool, as the Bell inequality can be explained in a single intuitive lecture.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2013-06-01T08:24:10.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "03.65.-w", "03.65.Ud" ], "keywords": [ "bells inequality", "quantum mechanics", "measurement results arise", "single figure suffices", "bell inequality means" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "American Journal of Physics", "year": 2013, "month": "Nov", "volume": 81, "number": 11, "pages": 854 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2013AmJPh..81..854M" } } }
