Then, after introducing the gauge-invariant non-perturbative formulation of non-Abelian gauge theories on a spacetime lattice, we present a selection of results from recent lattice studies of theories with a different number of colors, and the findings obtained from their extrapolation to the 't Hooft limit. We conclude with a brief discussion and a summary.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2013-04-26T10:23:08.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "non-abelian gauge theories", "hooft limit", "lattice studies", "conceptual advances", "spacetime lattice" ], "tags": [ "journal article", "review article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "Elsevier", "journal": "Physics Reports", "year": 2013, "month": "May", "volume": 526, "number": 2, "pages": 93 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 97, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 1191457, "adsabs": "2013PhR...526...93L" } } }
