In the present paper the link between the half-life of the neutrinoless double beta decay and theories with large extra dimensions is explored. The use of the sensitivities of currently planned $0\\nu2\\beta$ experiments: DAMA, CANDLES, COBRA, DCBA, CAMEO, GENIUS, GEM, MAJORANA, MOON, CUORE, EXO, and XMASS, gives the possibility for a non-direct `experimental' verification of various extra dimensional scenarios. We discuss also the results of the Heidelberg--Moscow Collaboration. The calculations are based on the Majorana neutrino mass generation mechanism in the Arkani-Hamed--Dimopoulos--Dvali model.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2012-01-05T17:40:12.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "14.60.Pq", "12.60.-i", "14.60.St", "11.10.Kk" ], "keywords": [ "neutrinoless double beta decay experiments", "extra dimensions", "majorana neutrino mass generation mechanism" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review D", "doi": "10.1103/PhysRevD.71.096005", "year": 2005, "month": "May", "volume": 71, "number": 9, "pages": "096005" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 684269, "adsabs": "2005PhRvD..71i6005G" } } }
