  "abstract": "I will give a short review the physics of strangeness enhancement in quark-gluon plasma, and argue that it is currently the best candidate of a signature of deconfinement. I will also discuss what strangeness abundance can tell us about the bulk properties of the system created in heavy ion collisions.",
