We show that the SU(3) breaking effects induced by the differences of the pertinent two-baryon thresholds (Lambda-Lambda, Xi-N, Sigma-Sigma) have a very pronounced impact that need to be incorporated properly in future lattice QCD simulations. We also point out that if the H-dibaryon is a two-baryon bound state, its dominant component is Xi-N rather than Lambda-Lambda, which is a consequence of the approximate SU(3) flavor symmetry of the two-baryon interactions.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2011-09-21T12:54:09.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "12.39.Fe", "14.20.Pt", "13.75.Ev" ], "keywords": [ "chiral effective field theory", "h-dibaryon", "two-baryon bound state", "lattice qcd simulations", "quark mass dependence" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1016/j.physletb.2011.10.070", "journal": "Physics Letters B", "year": 2011, "month": "Nov", "volume": 706, "number": 1, "pages": 100 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 8, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 927676, "adsabs": "2011PhLB..706..100H" } } }
