The simplest contribution to this process is the quark \"box\" amplitude. In the present paper we also explicitly include the vector meson degrees of freedom, i.e., the rho and the omega, thus giving rise to additional, resonant contributions. We find that in order to satisfy the axial anomaly result, a further subtraction in the resonant part is needed. The results are then compared with the vector meson dominance model as well as the Dyson--Schwinger calculations, the chiral perturbation theory result, and the available data.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2012-01-19T18:00:53.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "12.39.Ki", "12.40.Vv", "13.40.Gp", "12.38.Lg" ], "keywords": [ "axial anomaly", "constituent quark loop model", "pseudoscalar", "vector meson dominance model", "chiral perturbation theory result" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review D", "year": 2012, "month": "Feb", "volume": 85, "number": 3, "pages": "034042" }, "note": { "typesetting": "RevTeX", "pages": 21, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 927386, "adsabs": "2012PhRvD..85c4042B" } } }
