The specific form of the N3LO and N4LO corrections from, respectively, one-pion-exchange and two-pion-exchange depends on the off-the-energy-shell prescriptions adopted for the non-static terms in the corresponding potentials. We show that different prescriptions lead to unitarily equivalent potentials and accompanying charge operators. Thus, provided a consistent set is adopted, predictions for physical observables will remain unaffected by the non-uniqueness associated with these off-the-energy-shell effects.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2011-06-22T19:41:59.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "21.30.-x", "12.39.Fe", "21.45.Bc", "13.40.-f" ], "keywords": [ "chiral effective field theory", "two-nucleon electromagnetic charge operator", "two-nucleon system", "off-the-energy-shell effects", "consistent set" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review C", "year": 2011, "month": "Aug", "volume": 84, "number": 2, "pages": "024001" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 16, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 914477, "adsabs": "2011PhRvC..84b4001P" } } }
