The expression possesses correct analytical properties and can be used in both timelike and spacelike kinematical regions. The comparison is made with the existing experimental data on F_pi collected by the detectors SND, CMD-2, KLOE, and BaBaR restricted to energies below 1 GeV. A good description of all four data sets is obtained. In the spacelike region, upon substituting the resonance parameters found in the timelike one, the formula gives F_pi, in agreement with the measurements of the NA7 Collaboration.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2011-06-20T05:34:13.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "13.40.Gp", "14.40.Be", "12.40.Vv", "99.10.Cd", "13.66.Bc" ], "keywords": [ "field theory inspired approach", "electromagnetic form factor", "expression possesses correct analytical properties", "pion form factor" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review D", "year": 2011, "month": "Jun", "volume": 83, "number": 11, "pages": 113005 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 12, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 896938, "adsabs": "2011PhRvD..83k3005A" } } }
