By studying the holographic p-wave and s-wave superconductors in (3+1)-dimensional boundary field theories, it is found that near the critical temperature, the critical exponent of the condensation is 1/2 which is the universal value in mean-field theory. We also find that when Gauss-Bonnet coefficients grow bigger the operators on the boundary field theory will be harder to condense. These are in good agreement with the numerical results.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2011-03-21T02:01:27.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "holographic superconductors", "gauss-bonnet gravity", "analytical studies", "boundary field theory", "gauss-bonnet coefficients grow bigger" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "Springer", "journal": "Journal of High Energy Physics", "year": 2011, "month": "Apr", "volume": 2011, "pages": 28 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 16, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 892731, "adsabs": "2011JHEP...04..028L" } } }
