These new data are found to be consistent with hydrodynamic extrapolations of RHIC data with no change in medium parameters (e.g., average viscosity). I also discuss how, in general, a precise comparison of data to theoretical calculations requires an understanding of some subtleties of the measurement -- most notably the cut on transverse momentum of the particles used and the differing sensitivities to flow fluctuations and non-flow effects of the various measurement methods.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2011-04-13T15:29:04.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "25.75.Ld" ], "keywords": [ "cern large hadron collider", "comparing heavy-ion data", "elliptic flow", "first viscous hydrodynamic prediction" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review C", "year": 2011, "month": "Apr", "volume": 83, "number": 4, "pages": "044911" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 3, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 880632, "adsabs": "2011PhRvC..83d4911L" } } }
