The incompressibility $K_\\infty$ for the symmetric nuclear matter, the isospin dependent part $K_{asy}$ of the isobaric incompressibility and the slope $L$ are all in excellent agreement with the constraints recently extracted from measured isotopic dependence of the giant monopole resonances in even-A Sn isotopes, from the neutron skin thickness of nuclei and from analyses of experimental data on isospin diffusion and isotopic scaling in intermediate energy heavy-ion collisions. This work provides a fundamental basis for the understanding of nuclear matter under extreme conditions, and validates the important empirical constraints obtained from recent experimental data.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2009-07-15T09:20:56.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "21.10.Dr", "21.65.-f", "26.60.Kp", "21.30.Fe", "21.65.Cd" ], "keywords": [ "asymmetric nuclear matter", "isospin dependent properties", "isospin dependent bulk properties", "intermediate energy heavy-ion collisions", "density dependent m3y interaction" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review C", "year": 2009, "month": "Jul", "volume": 80, "number": 1, "pages": "011305" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 14, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 819953, "adsabs": "2009PhRvC..80a1305C" } } }
