We demonstrate that these low-energy observables allow a robust determination of the two undetermined constants. The consistency of the interactions and currents in chiral effective field theory is crucial to this remarkable result. The two- plus three-nucleon interactions from chiral effective field theory defined by properties of the A=2 system and the present determination of c_D and c_E are successful in predicting properties of the A=3, and 4 systems.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2009-09-21T17:23:09.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "21.30.-x", "27.10.+h", "21.45.Ff", "23.40.-s" ], "keywords": [ "chiral effective field theory", "three-nucleon low-energy constants", "consistency", "accurate ab initio calculations" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review Letters", "year": 2009, "month": "Sep", "volume": 103, "number": 10, "pages": 102502 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 4, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 806076, "adsabs": "2009PhRvL.103j2502G" } } }
