At this order the *-deformed Lagrangian can be expanded in the series of dimension five operators that have non-trivial transformation properties under the ordinary Lorentz invariance. Such operators cause the Lorentz-violating signatures at low energies, and in particular lead to the anomalous spin precession linked to the external direction. The experimental bounds on this phenomenon then restrict parameter $\\kappa$ to be above 10^{23} GeV, making it difficult to impose a direct connection between this theory and quantum gravity.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2008-07-09T19:24:19.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "standard model", "kappa-minkowski extension", "low-energy constraints", "non-trivial transformation properties", "ordinary lorentz invariance" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "Physics Letters B", "year": 2009, "month": "Jun", "volume": 677, "number": "3-4", "pages": 160 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 6, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 790351, "adsabs": "2009PhLB..677..160B" } } }
