Within this gauge, we can in particular construct explicitly the conserved color current and calculate exactly the gauge field immediately after the collision. This field is used as a boundary condition in an iterative solution of the Yang-Mills equations in the forward light-cone. In leading order, which corresponds to a linearization of the Yang-Mills equation in the forward light-cone, we obtain a simple formula for the spectrum of gluons produced in nucleus-nucleus collisions. This formula reproduces exactly the known formula for proton-nucleus collisions, where $k_t-$factorization is recovered, while the latter property apparently breaks down in the case of nucleus-nucleus collisions.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2008-06-09T10:57:29.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "24.85.+p", "25.75.-q", "12.38.Mh" ], "keywords": [ "high energy nucleus-nucleus collisions", "classical field", "early stages", "yang-mills equation", "forward light-cone" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "Elsevier", "journal": "Nuclear Physics A", "year": 2009, "month": "Feb", "volume": 818, "number": 1, "pages": 97 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 26, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 787668, "adsabs": "2009NuPhA.818...97B" } } }
