We show that these black holes can be localized on the brane, and they can further be extended into the bulk by a warp function. These solutions have regular horizons and no other curvature singularities appear apart from the string-like ones. The projection of the Gauss-Bonnet term on the brane imposes a constraint relation which requires the presence of matter in the extra dimensions.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2008-11-05T10:09:21.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "gauss-bonnet term", "curvature singularities appear apart", "black hole solutions", "regular horizons", "constraint relation" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "Elsevier", "journal": "Nuclear Physics B", "year": 2009, "month": "Mar", "volume": 810, "number": "1-2", "pages": 246 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 23, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 784527, "adsabs": "2009NuPhB.810..246C" } } }
