There is a critical temperature, below which a charged condensate forms via a second order phase transition and the (DC) conductivity becomes infinite. The frequency dependent conductivity develops a gap determined by the condensate. We find evidence that the condensate consists of pairs of quasiparticles.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2008-03-22T21:33:37.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "11.25.Tq", "04.70.Bw", "74.20.-z" ], "keywords": [ "ads/cft superconductor", "second order phase transition", "simple gravitational theory", "frequency dependent conductivity", "holographically dual description" ], "tags": [ "journal article", "famous paper" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review Letters", "year": 2008, "month": "Jul", "volume": 101, "number": 3, "pages": "031601" }, "note": { "typesetting": "LaTeX", "pages": 10, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 781888, "adsabs": "2008PhRvL.101c1601H" } } }
