Prominent among them is the disappearance of the N=28 shell closure for Z<=16. We have incorporated to SDPF-NR some modifications, either on purely theoretical grounds or guided by new experimental information. The proposed interaction, SDPF-U, contains USD as its sd-shell part and KB3G as its pf-shell-part. Its range of applicability is enlarged and its reliability enhanced with respect to the earlier version.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v3", "updated": "2009-01-13T16:19:35.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "21.60.Cs", "27.40.+z", "21.10.-k", "23.40.-s" ], "keywords": [ "shell model calculations", "sdpf valence space", "effective interaction", "neutron rich isotopes", "earlier version" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review C", "year": 2009, "month": "Jan", "volume": 79, "number": 1, "pages": "014310" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 6, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 770784, "adsabs": "2009PhRvC..79a4310N" } } }
