We will discuss the infrared regularization and the extended on-mass-shell scheme. Both allow for the inclusion of further degrees of freedom beyond pions and nucleons and the application to higher-loop calculations. As applications we consider the chiral expansion of the nucleon mass to order O(q^6) and the inclusion of vector and axial-vector mesons in the calculation of nucleon form factors.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2007-11-02T13:41:34.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "effective field theory", "developments", "chiral perturbation theory", "nucleon form factors", "consistent power" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "Progress in Particle and Nuclear Physics", "year": 2008, "month": "Jul", "volume": 61, "number": 1, "pages": 19 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 8, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 766517, "adsabs": "2008PrPNP..61...19S" } } }
