Experimentally, the problem is attacked by a multi-disciplinary effort, namely by direct measurements of cosmic rays above the atmosphere, by air shower observations, and by the detection of TeV $\\gamma$ rays. Recent experimental results are presented and their implications on the contemporary understanding of the origin of galactic cosmic rays are discussed.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2007-10-29T19:39:39.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "96.50.Sb", "98.70.Sa", "96.50.Sd", "96.50.S-" ], "keywords": [ "galactic cosmic rays", "air shower observations", "multi-disciplinary effort", "astroparticle physics", "direct measurements" ], "tags": [ "conference paper", "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research A", "year": 2008, "month": "Apr", "volume": 588, "number": "1-2", "pages": 181 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 765405, "adsabs": "2008NIMPA.588..181H" } } }
