Employing a supersymmetric technique, we calculate the exact density of states for the Cauchy (Lorentzian) distribution for various types of disorders. We use a numerical technique to establish the localization-delocalization (LD) transition in the lowest Landau level. For some types of disorder the LD transition is shown to belong to a different universality class, as compared to the corresponding nonrelativistic problem. The results are relevant to the integer quantum Hall plateau transitions observed in graphene.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2007-06-26T01:12:52.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "73.43.-f", "73.43.Nq", "71.30.+h", "72.15.Rn" ], "keywords": [ "lowest landau level", "disordered graphene", "integer quantum hall plateau transitions", "dimensional fermions", "supersymmetric technique" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review B", "year": 2007, "month": "Nov", "volume": 76, "number": 20, "pages": 205408 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 18, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2007PhRvB..76t5408G" } } }
